  • Director & Founder

    Claire is a content strategist and communications expert with 10 years’ experience in federal and state government, not-for-profits and commercial businesses. She has worked as a content creator and team leader in international strategy agencies, national arts organisations, and education-focused not-for-profits.

    She is a skilled copywriter with expertise in policy language and high-level business communication. Claire is currently completing her Masters in Public Policy and Management focusing on natural resource management (NRM), regenerative agriculture and climate change.

With 20 years’ of collective experience, the team at Akin Consulting Group is led by a shared passion for clear, consistent and purpose-driven communication.

 

  • Principal & Senior Copywriter

    Cara is the senior copywriter and editor at Akin Consulting Group. She has been writing and editing for 15 years and has been in content strategy and engagement for the last six years. Cara has a background in commercial real estate where she was the head of the content department, developing content strategies and communication plans for a wide-range of audiences in commercial buildings in Australia, the US and UK.

    As well as producing effective and captivating content and engagement campaigns, she has developed global reports, internal communication plans and case studies, and used her strong technical skills to produce product manuals, training plans and online courses.
